I began tutoring in 2023 after a long and successful career as an elementary school teacher and teacher leader. My greatest passion is empowering kids and their families to experience the best educational experience possible. Whether you are in public or private school, need assistance with simple math or advanced writing, want to close gaps, or get ahead, I can work with you and your child to determine the best path for them.

My approach to academic support goes beyond just helping students excel in the classroom. I believe that learning is about developing the skills and mindset needed to succeed in all areas of life. I have extensive training in child development, social-emotional well-being, behavior management, special education training, and more. I am committed to providing a “whole-child” experience. 

Additionally,  as someone who knows and understands the ins and outs of the public education system, I offer families assistance in navigating sometimes confusing territory. Perhaps your child is experiencing friction with a teacher or other school -personnel, or maybe you are trying to understand how the 504, or IEP process works. Quite possibly, you are all just still trying to make up for ‘the Covid years’. I offer my expertise in helping you go through paperwork, explain processes, and much more.
